Burka Must Be Banned and Radical Islamic Clerics Deported

Dear Editor,

While not usually a supporter of Rev. Fred Nile, I must agree that Australia must ban the Burka. It is a critical measure if we are serious about combating the growth of Islamic radicalism in this country. Further, all those supporting the goals of radical Islam should be immediately deported, including Islamic clerics who advocate fundamentalist militant aims. When is the Gillard Government going to realise that if we are at war with Islamic radicalism abroad, which we are in Afghanistan, then we should be at war with Islamic radicalism at home. Otherwise those Australian soldiers that are now regularly coming home in body bags are dying for nothing. Australian politicians must put the security of our country above their selfish fears of a minority electoral backlash. Our soldiers are putting their lives on the line, we must do all we can to support them domestically.

Dr. Molloy is one brave and true Australian! Many women/girls are murdered under 'honour' killings, thrown acid at, gang-raped and so on, for not wearing the Arabic veil; and we have useful idiots of the left, declaring that as freedom! the real truth is, Islam is founded on evilness right from the beginning, on the continuous rape, brutality (Mohammed's own child-'bride' was only 6 years old!) and enslavement (especially sexual enslavement -- thus polygamy, veiling of women/girls and child-'bride' were created) of children, women and mass murder of the Jews/non-Muslims by the Arabic Mohammed & his army! In order to assert primitive Arabic racial, cultural and political ideology (i.e. Islamism) and dominance, through creating a 'religion' called Islam, by Mohammed. The continuous pathetic appeasement and betrayal of the Western left in alliancing with the Islamists, since Hitler's days (the Nazi Party stand for National Socialist German Worker's Party), will cause the end of Judeo-Christian and Western freedom, modernization and civilization, such as exemplified by - FROM WND'S JERUSALEM BUREAU

Ban the burka. It's not part of Australian culture as bikins are not tolerated in muslim nations. All security camera's would be of little value if a burka wearing [ person ] was snapped during a thieft. Can you really tell who is behind the burka wearing dark glasses??? If you want to wear the burka live in the countries who love them.

May I ask Dr. Ivan, where is there a relationship between radicalism and burka wearing?

I have friends in many cities who wear burka, yet they are far law-abiding and loyal than most of us. Some are professionals positively contributing to our society.

We must avoid radicalising our thoughts by going to wrong directions and further alienating the Muslim citizens in this country. We must beg to differ and sideline the wrong characters calling us to extremise and attack these law-abiding men and women of the Muslim faith.

A shameful act indeed.

I beg to differ. If we went to illegal war, we expect reactions from those who we attacked and ransacked their homes and killed their innocent children. We should have told the US to it alone. Have we not invited trouble by our own doings?

Austarlia is a land of Freedom. The notion of banning burka is due to Rev. Fred Nile's deep hatred of muslim culture and we must not be hijacked by such Christan extremists that undermine our beliefs in freedom.

Dr. Ivan, the are no radical muslim clerics here. I think you have trusted the media more than they need to be trusted. A recent study was carried out and found that the Muslim clerics were the most loyal religious leaders in this state.

Hope we take the research more importantly than a few articles here and there about some fringe elements. Responsible journalism is also lacking in our society. This is creating hatred for nothing.
