Live Music Forum Coming Up
Hi folks , Please advise the community about the ALP stance on
Live music. Please see downloadable "signed version of document"pdf
attached Re Queensland Premiers response to me about
entertainment precincts on Sunshine coast .
I propose that the Sunshine Coast be an entertainment precinct
and that local government say who gets the ok within the
precinct. The approach would work for the sunshine coast as the
venues are sparsely situated and not in distinct clusters.
I will be advising of the venue shortly for the sunshine coast
live music forum, petitions are being drafted and will be
out on the streets shortly. Through public consultation the
following areas were identified.
Nambour QCWA
Nambour. Commercial hotel and CBD.
Maroochydore CBD
Noosa Heads Hill and junction.
Pergian Beach
Carol Street Maleny
All of montville
Big Pineapple.
Moonlight markets Nambour
Mooloolaba botanical gardens
Boreem Point
Joes waterhole Eumundi
Eumundi markets and park band stand.
Berts land main street Buderim
Kings park Caloundra
Loo with a view Mooloolaba beach.
All RSL,s
Coolum
Cotton Tree Park
Buderim tavern
Church halls where appropriate.
Kawana Civic centre.
Mudjimba beach.
Surf life saving clubs
All markets and parks.
