LNP need to start standing up for J-O-Bs
Opposition Treasury spokesman Tim Nicholls has once again confirmed the LNP stands for cuts, not jobs after telling ABC radio this morning the LNP would "reassess projects" from the $17 billion infrastructure program.
Treasurer Andrew Fraser said the LNP's plan would not only mean job cuts, but also adversely affect Queensland's economic recovery.
"This is evidence, yet again, that the LNP don't have a clue," Mr Fraser said.
"Re-assess is clearly the new 'denecessary'"!"
"They don't have a policy, they don't have a jobs target, they don't have an economic strategy - they just don't care about jobs for Queenslanders.
"That's the big difference between the Bligh Labor Government and the LNP.
"We made the tough decision to support more than 100,000 jobs by investing in a $17 billion building program to keep building schools, hospitals and roads - they chose to cut jobs and slash services.
"Queensland has begun its economic recovery and seen 12 straight months of jobs growth - the last four of which we've led the nation.
"Until the LNP wake up to themselves, Queenslanders deserve to know which projects they plan to axe and how many job losses that would result in.
"The LNP's incompetence shines through once again."

Opposition Treasury spokesman Tim Nicholls:
"Now this year alone the government's saying we're spending another $17billion on what's going on..so what we said is you need to reassess these projects."
