Muster Poll -- Bligh is in trouble

Working out at the Gympie Muster as an Apex volunteer gives the local LNP Member for Gympie David Gibson a chance to talk to locals and visitors alike about a range of topics however once they recognise him as the local MP the topic of conversation invariably turns to politics.

"I've spent more time talking about what a minority government in Canberra means than I have in helping Muster patrons find venues." Mr Gibson joked.

"But one thing is very clear regardless of where the person is from, Labor on the nose in Queensland."

The recent Federal election result was a 9.5 swing against Labor resulting in the loss of eight seats in the Sunshine State.

"Most of the people I'm talking to at the Muster mention Anna Bligh's name when they talk about the Federal Labor result. Whilst people can distinguish between State and Federal issues they don't trust Labor nor do they want Anna Bligh as Premier."

"The election result has weakened Anna Bligh's leadership with her own MP's now speaking out at the foolishness of the decisions Labor has been pursuing in this State.'

Mr Gibson said these Labor MP's were obviously worried that the next State election result could be devastating for Labor if Anna Bligh was to remain as Premier.

"I'm sure those Labor MP's are hearing at home the same message I'm hearing out here at the Muster -- Queenslanders have had enough of the lies and the spin of Labor.
