New Year's Eve Street Parade @ Boreen Point

The creative crew came out in force this morning at Boreen Point to make costumes, banners and flying things to use in the New Year’s Eve Street Parade that is part of the festivities being held at Boreen Point on New Year’s Eve. The parade theme is celebrating the culmination of the international year forests. The Gleeson family (pictured) loved the chance to get creative and work together sharing ideas.

Friday will see the 2nd workshop from 10am-12 midday, so come along and get creative. The parade will meet at the sailing club at 5pm on Saturday 31st. Parade leaves 5.30pm.

The NYE street party at Boreen Point will have kids activities after the parade and music will rock the night away till late. Flares will be at 9pm and midnight. This year we have a special pacific island dance performance. Thanks to the Sunshine Coast Council and Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club for your community support.
