RSPCA and oil spill
RSPCA and oil spill
RSPCA Qld will send a team of wildlife officers and its Senior Ambulance Officer plus emergency equipment and a four wheel drive, to assist the EPA with the oil spill in Moreton Bay. They will be staying on Moreton Island at the Tangalooma Resort and will be there continuously from Wednesday 18/3/9 to Sunday 22/3/9.
Since the disaster unfolded the EPA has been referring all wildlife related calls to RSPCA Qld's 1300 ANIMAL telephone number.
RSPCA staff and volunteers have been collating and compiling information relating to injured wildlife and compiling a list of wildlife rescue volunteers.
