RSPCA joins fight to save wildlife
13/03/09 RSPCA joins fight to save wildlife
RSPCA Qld early offers of assistance to help native wildlife affected by the oil slick have now been accepted and a team has left for Bribie Island and another is on standby to go to Moreton Island.
"We're delighted our offers of assistance have been accepted and we will do everything in our power to minimise the pain and suffering caused to native animals," said RSPCA Qld Chief Inspector Michael Pecic. "Sadly the ramifications appear much greater than originally predicted."
