S.W.A.M at the Harbourside Gallery, Noosa Marina Art Exhibition
Sunshine Coast and Cooloola Coast artists who have entered the
Sulman, Wynne, Archibald and Moran prizes in 2010 and 2011, are
invited to exhibit those works, still in their posession in a
retrospective exhibition.
The exhibition will be held at the Harbourside Gallery from the
20th April 2012. It is hoped that as many artists as
possible will participate and showcase their work.
While a “Salon des Refuses” has been held in past years, this is
different in that it aims at airing out works that may not have
otherwise been appreciated by the public especially as no such
exhibition was organised in 2011.
Works from the 2012 exhibitions will be considered if they are
back in the artists’ possession by 15th April and room
permitting.
