The Free Holiday Buses are here again!!

Boxing Day 2008 to 4 January 2009

Did you know that you can catch almost any bus from any local bus stop between Peregian and Cooran for FREE from 26 December 08 to 4 January 09? (Except services 620, 630 & 631)

The following Sunbus services will operate FREE of charge:

Regular Services

Route 626 - St Andrews Drive to Sunrise Beach
Route 627 - Tewantin to Sunshine Beach
Route 628 - Noosa National Park to Parklands
Route 629 - Tewantin to Noosa Heads
Route 632 - Cooran to Noosa Heads via Pomona & Cooroy

Additional Temporary Free Services

Route 064 - Peregian Beach to Noosa Heads
Route 065 (park n' ride) - Noosa Junction to Tewantin via Gympie Terrace and Noosa Heads

You can catch the buses from your local stop, or park 'n' ride from the car park at Cnr. Cooyar Street and Sunshine Beach Road in Noosa Junction (in front of Le Cyclo Sportif or outside Noosa 5 Cinemas).

New Year's Eve Services

Why not take the bus this New Year's Eve? TransLink are operating additional services from 6:30pm to 3:00am on Routes 620, 626 and 627. Standard fares will apply to these services.

Boreen Point $2 Taxi

The Boreen Point $2 Taxi will be free from 26 December to 4 January.

If you haven't tried public transport before, give it a go! Simply say hello and smile to the driver and he will take you to safely to your destination for FREE.

The Free Holiday Buses are an initiative of Sunshine Coast Regional Council, Tourism Noosa and TransLink. Catch the free buses and help reduce traffic congestion in the Noosa region over the Christmas / New Year period.
