THE ROTARY CLUB OF NAMBOUR ASSISTS WITH DISASTER RELIEF
THE CALL GOES OUT TO FILL THE HALL
The President of the Rotary Club of Nambour, Lionel Ash, announced today that the club will contribute money from its Disaster Relief Fund to augment the proceeds from the Triple Benefit Concert, featuring the Australian Army Band and top local artists being held in the Nambour Civic Centre at 2pm on Saturday 21 March 2009.
Following the huge success last weekend in Sydney and Melbourne, The Rotary Club of Nambour hope that residents of the Sunshine Coast will catch the vision and respond by filling the Nambour Civic Centre which holds 800 people.
Expenses to run the concert have been cut to a minimum due to the generous assistance from artists, Sunshine Coast Regional Council, Nambour Civic Centre, business houses and private donors. The net proceeds will aid North Queensland Flood and Victorian Bushfire survivors and Rotary’s continuing project to eradicate polio world wide.
Seats are still available at the attractive price of $22 adults, $17 concession and $12 children 12 years and under.
