Brenton Clutterbuck, The Greens candidate for Maroochydore

I'm a twenty year old University Student, a Sunshine Coast resident for the last decade and a bit.

I am currently completing an education degree, to qualify myself to teach in Queensland High Schools. I have had practical experience in public, private and alternative schooling environments, and am always impressed by the hard work of our teaching staff. I would like to see every effort made to support our education professionals, at all levels.

We have a great need to address the economic and ecological challenges of our time. We are faced with a great opportunity to meet these challenges, that seems to have gone widely unnoticed by the major parties. The creation of green collar jobs possible through investment in renewable energy, improved public transport and the promotion of local tourism, enables us to take aim at some of the serious problems our Country faces. My desire is to see Queensland at the forefront of the move to meet these challenges.
