Opening night is Thursday, 10th December and we are now taking bookings for all of your end of year and Christmas celebrations.

At the moment we are a BYO restaurant and we will be serving delicious non alcoholic cocktails (mocktails), when our liquour license comes through in the new year we will be a fully licensed restaurant. Capelli on Duke, in the heart of Gympie, has three separate dining areas: the main dining room with 50s style decor has a light fresh ambience and a view of the kitchen, the terrace for alfresco dining on a summer evening and the bar that extends around the front of the restaurant. The bar is surrounded by glass and has a funky retro style with bench seats and ottomans that is the ideal spot for watching the Queensland sunset, sipping on a cool drink and feasting from the share plates menu.

The first part of our new menu is all about sharing, with over fifteen unique dishes to choose from including imported smallgoods from Spain, char grilled quail, Parmesan Crusted Sardines stuffed with Anchoiade and Seafood Hotpot to name a few. The mains are an amazing mix of culinary delights including an enhancement on the old Capelli favourite Confit Duck as well as Chicken Leg stuffed with Sobrasada (a pork and paprika paste) and Crispy Skin Pork Belly. Desserts are always a favourite in the Capelli Foods kitchen, with crispy baklave, Chai Panna Cotta, Chocolate Terrine and many more mouth-watering options.

Capelli on Duke can be booked for private and corporate functions and we can also cater for larger functions such as a weddings, Xmas parties and birthday parties. The restaurant is open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday and Lunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
 
While we can now have you over for dinner at our restaurant, Capelli on Duke, Capelli Foods are still taking orders for take home meals, personal chef, and catering for off site functions.
