Join a Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) rangers on a "Go Bush" activity in Sunshine Coast parks and forests these school holidays and discover the wonders of nature first-hand.

QPWS Ranger Cheryl Thomson said the ongoing program offered opportunities to enjoy activities only Queensland's national parks and forests could provide.

"Check out what's happening in your Sunshine Coast parks --- you'll be amazed at what's out there," Miss Thomson said.

"During the school holidays you can explore the rainforest at Kondalilla National Park or take a walk around the Glass House Mountains.

"The activities are for locals and visitors to the coast. Night walks are always popular at Noosa and Kondalilla National Parks, so it is best to book early!"

"School holidays are full of fun activities for the whole family, with activities being run at various locations. The spectacular Glass House Mountains National Park are on our back doorstep and these walks are the perfect opportunity to explore the peaks with a ranger guide."
