E-Jay Lindsay-Park, Independent Senate Candidate

My name is E-Jay Lindsay-Park and I am standing as an Independent Senate Candidate in this year's Federal Election. I am passionate about Queensland as a whole but most particularly I love rural Queensland. I am deeply concerned about the issues that affect rural communities. For a long time I have been waiting for change, for the tide to turn. I now know that we need to stand up together to make change happen.

What I stand for?

I am standing up for your right to be heard. I am standing to give Rural Queenslanders a voice. I am standing up to ensure Rural Queensland is not ignored or forgotten. As I've been travelling around Queensland people have asked me about Education and what is happening in schools today. Many residents are asking for more information about the move towards a National Education system. The change towards a Nationally Funded Health system and what that will mean for rural Queenslanders is frequently raised. People are deeply concerned by the financial impact of the GFC on self funded retirees, and the ever increasing cost of living. While others are asking "When did a trip to the dentist become a luxury?"

As an Independent Senator I will not be bound by party policy. This means I am able to genuinely represent your views. You need to be listened to and represented. I need your help to give rural Queensland a voice in the Senate. One voice can make a difference.

• Stop UCG projects. Our water quality is too important. No UCG projects over underground aquifers or near any waterways.
• Increase support for Geo Thermal, Wind and Solar energies.
• STOP importing unregulated foreign produce. Support Australian farmers producing high quality fresh produce to Australian Standards.
• Health services for ALL Queenslanders. Super Clinics? Regional Australians just want access to a Doctor. Women want to have their babies close to home.
• Real Education Standards. Stronger support for Principals managing violent, abusive and dangerous behaviour. Stop violence in schools.
• An independent works for YOU. Listening and working with you and your community on issues that affect you.
