Jenny Goodwin - ALP Candidate for Kawana

I am a married mother and a Nurse. I have worked in a range of clinical roles, including the Maternity Unit at Caboolture Hospital and as the community health nurse at Caloundra until 2004. Most recently I have been involved in the clinical service planning for the increased services at Nambour and Caloundra Hospitals, the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital and the Regional Health Precinct at Maroochydore.

I have a proven track record for leading change and negotiating positive outcomes for health care infrastructure and delivery in this region. As part of the Bligh Labor government I will be an active voice for Kawana and represent the interests of the community.

Only the Labor Government has a clear and costed plan to keep the infrastructure program going to keep the foundations of our economy strong, to keep Queensland strong and to support local jobs.
