Community singing in groups is an excellent way to learn the basics of singing and build confidence. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician, group singing is fun, challenging, and a brilliant way to meet like minded people.

In each onehour weekly groups we will focus on the mechanics of singing, including breathing exercises, body alignment, vocal placement and intonation and we will work towards expanding your vocal range, stamina and flexibility with a detailed warm up or "Vocal Gym".

Repertoir choice will be vary from contemporary and jazz to music theatre. Working as a group we'll learn to sing in unison, parts and canons, read music, develop musical style, and build your performance confidence, all in a nonthreatening and fun atmosphere.

You will be given a CD of repertoire and exercises so that you can practice effectively at home between rehearsals.
