Big announcements and buzz expected at Business Expo launch

Big names, big news, and big ideas are all on the bill for the 2011 Sunshine Coast Business Expo launch this Friday, 22 October, led by special guest, State Opposition and LNP Leader John-Paul Langbroek.

Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce President Myles McNamara said it was an exciting coup to welcome Mr Langbroek to the Sunshine Coast for the 'Big Lunch' event and anticipated launch of the 2011 Sunshine Coast Business Expo.

"It's definitely going to be a 'Big Lunch' in every sense of the word, as not only do we have the honour of John-Paul joining us for the occasion, we will also reveal which celebrity business guru will be one of the big stars at next year's expo," Mr McNamara said.

The Sunshine Coast Business Expo is one of the most exciting, inclusive and engaging business events to be staged in the region, boasting 1,500 attendees and 70 trade exhibitors at its debut last year.

"In 2011 we plan on building on that benchmark with bigger and better seminars, professional development workshops, valuable networking events, and of course, a nationally acclaimed keynote speaker all savvy business owners won't want to miss," Mr McNamara said.

The Expo will take place on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 March 2011 at the Mooloolaba Campus of the Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE.

Business identities, Howard Aron (YOUI) and investment expert, John Strano will also share their insights into doing business on the Sunshine Coast at the launch next week.
