Sunshine Coast tradies urged to learn more about Tiling
Avoid costly tiling defects with a FREE tiling seminar.
Public Works Minister, Robert Schwarten, said the Building Services
Authority (BSA) would hold a FREE ceramic tiling show at Waterfront
Hotel in Maroochydore on 13 April.
"The increased popularity of ceramic tiles has led to an increase in
defective tiling, with floor tiling defects the third most common
problem reported to BSA," Mr Schwarten said.
"The show, combining DVD and advice from an industry expert, will
outline the requirements of the new tiling standard, explain the most
commonly occurring tiling defects and demonstrate best practice tiling
methods.
"These seminars are part of the Queensland Government's strategy to help
Queenslanders build better," he said.
