Easter Artschool
Dreamy kids flock to Caloundra
Gallery this Easter
While chocolate eggs will provide some amusement over the Easter
holidays, crafty parents are busily booking a place at the Caloundra
Regional Gallery's workshop for kids.
ArtScool is specially designed for children aged 5--15 years, as part of
the gallery's Education and Public Programs.
The workshop is being offered on Wednesday 7 April between 10.30am and
midday at Felicity Park, next to the Caloundra Regional Gallery.
Children will have the opportunity to workshop their ideas on the theme
of "Dreams and Wishes" into a two or three-dimensional collage piece.
The workshop costs $15 per child and all art materials are supplied --
the only requirement for kids is to bring an active imagination.
Other ArtScool workshops run throughout the year have proved popular, so
make sure you secure your child's place by booking early.
For bookings and enquiries contact the Caloundra Regional Gallery on
5420 8299 or email artgallery@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au.
