BUDERIM MALE CHOIR CONCERTS - 2010

AUGUST
"Harps & Heavenly Harmonies" -- 2.00pm, Sunday 22 August at Lake Kawana Community Centre, Sportsmans Parade, Birtinya. This is a Concert you must not miss! It's an opportunity to see and hear the world acclaimed Lipman Harp Duo in a scintillating performance. Their music captivated our audience on Mothers Day last year. Don't miss it! MC -- Andrew Lofthouse. Admission: $18 Adults or $15 concession, and Children up to 12 are free.

OCTOBER
'For the Choral Connoisseurs' -- 2.00pm, Sunday 17 October at Caloundra Uniting Church, 56 Queen St, Caloundra -- this concert will excite the most discerning of choral music lovers. The Buderim Male Choir with guest artists 'Vox Pacifica Chamber Choir' under the direction of one of Australia's leading choral conductors - Dr Debra Shearer-Diri. Vox Pacifica is a youthful ensemble comprising some of south east Queensland's most talented young singers, performing music from various regions of the world. Admission: $15 Adults or $12 concession, and Children up to 12 are free.

NOVEMBER
'Voices in Harmony' -- 7.30pm, Saturday 20 November at Lake Kawana Community Centre, Sportsmans Parade, Birtinya. The Buderim Male Choir joins forces with their guests, the Wellington Male Voice Choir from New Zealand. There's nothing quite like the sound of a very large male voice choir, and the sound of these two Choirs combined certainly makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. Their rich, sonorous and immensely powerful sounds contrast their beautiful, soft harmonic textures. Don't miss this one! Admission: $15 Adults or $12 concession, and Children up to 12 are free.

Light refreshments will be sold at all concerts to raise funds for Charity ($3).

The Buderim Male Choir -- celebrated its 35th year in 2009.    With Brendan Scully as Musical Director and Natasha Koch as the accompanist, this Sunshine Coast choir goes from strength to strength. It's now recognised as amongst the finest of Australia's male voice choirs. And with fresh and exciting repertoire, the choir is focused on providing great entertainment for its audiences.
