'Get the tills ringing' business dinner
Limited seats available at Mary
Valley leadership workshop and business dinner
There are still seats available for the full-day leadership, business
and community workshop with renowned community builder Peter Kenyon next
week, but be quick to secure them.
Bookings close on April 6 for the "Leading the Way" workshop, which will
focus on key leadership concepts and building healthy communities.
Organiser Kaili Parker-Price said the event at Garapine outdoor
recreation centre, Kandanga, would give business and community
representatives an opportunity to gain skills, re-charge energy banks
and consider a future Mary Valley community at its full potential.
The leadership workshop follows on from Mr Kenyon's first visit to the
Mary Valley last month where he helped the community brainstorm future
projects for the region, as well as preparing the Mary Valley renewal
team to draft the community and economic action plan.
At next week's workshop, he will give people the skills and courage to
take some of those projects forward, but the learnings are relevant to
people from all areas.
Bookings are essential and costs are $9 for Mary Valley residents and
$25 for participants from neighbouring centres. Lunch is included and
the venue is the Garapine centre, Mountain View Road off Traveston
Crossing Rd, Kandanga from 8.45am--5pm.
The workshop will be followed by a business dinner titled "Get the tills
ringing" at the Gympie Civic Centre from 6pm.
This is an exciting opportunity for guests to enjoy a two-course dinner
where Peter Kenyon will appear as guest speaker for just $40.
Guests will hear Mr Kenyon's motivational stories and advice on
increasing your cash flow.
This business dinner is a must for any business operator and a great
networking opportunity to "get up close and personal" with what really
matters.
Mr Kenyon was brought back to the valley by community organisation Mary
Valley Inc, which is committed to networking the Mary Valley and is
responsible for on-going projects such as the local business and
community directory and the website www.themaryvalley.com.au
Bookings for the workshop and business dinner to Kaili Parker-Price on
