Gympie Public Forum on Mental Health Services

An informal meeting with government and non-government mental health professionals who want to make a difference in the community. An opportunity for consumers and carers to voice their concerns and suggestions on mental health services.
There are many services available to assist individuals and their carers, who have mental health problems/illness, but knowing who they are and what they do is difficult.
Providers of mental health services want to know what consumer and carers want and expect because we know we can do better.
Individuals who have personal experience of mental health problems/illness, carers and representatives of carer or selfhelp groups are invited to join us for a conversation about who does what, what works, what doesn't, and what services are needed.
