Jenny Waddell on how to make 'Knickers'

SEWING NEWS SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2010 THE TEWANTIN NEIGHBOURHOOD GROUP of the Australian Sewing Guild -- known as The Guilded *Lilies* Sewing Circle. *(Ladies industriously learning interesting exciting sewing). Will be meeting on Saturday 25th September and on 30th October 2010 commencing at 9.00 am until 3.00 pm at the Masonic Hall, cnr of Moorindil and Toolar Streets, Tewantin, Qld 4565.

Septembers' programme -- Jenny Waddell will be teaching the group on how to make "Knickers"

Octobers' programme -- Carolyn will be teaching the group how to make a 'Church Doll" with heirloom techniques. If you love sewing you are most welcome to visit or join the Australian Sewing Guild, we meet in a relaxed environment and explore both basic dressmaking and decorative sewing techniques.

Each month a different theme is planned -- either a professional teachers or just a general sewing time. Profession sewers will share some of their secrets with the group to help them upgrade their skills and improve their sewing techniques. Members bring their sewing machines and lunch.
