Knitting for the Needy
Come and join us for a fun day of knitting etc. Refreshments provided.
Now extended to the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas!!
Since inception in January, 2006 until end December, 2009: 40,167 new items have been donated to various charities; most of these items were hand made by our volunteers. With winter on the way we will be needing - rugs (all sizes), beanies, scarves, gloves, jumpers, cardigans, ponchos, (all sizes), socks, bed socks, baby clothes, toys, toiletries etc. Without our committed volunteers none of this would be possible, our lives can be so fulfilled when we help others. Our troubles begin to feel so insignificant as we become aware of the plight of other less fortunate people!
