Toys, books, clothes...everything very reasonably priced to ensure this year's Christmas is a bargain!

December 3rd, 4th and 5th mark this year's Children's Christmas Fest in Cooroy. Make your way in to the Lifeline shop on Maple Street Thursday 3rd to grab the most sought after toys, dolls, games and children's books for your little ones to cherish. Friday and Saturday will be a little more hectic as eager residents flock to ensure they don't miss out.

The sale has been very successful in previous years, drawing Christmas shoppers from Cooroy and surrounds. The Children's Christmas Fest gives families the opportunity to shop locally at affordable prices. Activities have been incorporated to include guessing competitions as well as daily lucky docket prizes (which will be shop vouchers) and story telling. On Saturday 5th between 9 am and 11 am there will be a sausage sizzle and "Awesome Face Painting" will be in attendance to help the little ones get into the Christmas spirit.

A "Silent Auction" will also be held over the three days for a beautiful baby doll made by Dawn Price (a long standing volunteer with Cooroy Lifeline). The doll is a reproduction of a Georgene Averill German doll by Dawn Price (nee Dalziel) 1981.

Funds raised from the sale will go to help maintain the many free counselling and support services Lifeline provide to the Sunshine Coast community. Every contribution, financial or otherwise, builds the structural support needed to deliver quality, community-based services.
