Music on Kings (formerly Opera on Kings) is a free community event that attracts over 5,000 people each year. It presents a unique musical experience of innovative musical blend including musical theatre, cabaret, opera and comedy ranging through to the best of Broadway to Opera Favourites.

Showcased at Kings Beach, Caloundra on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and held at the purposely and ideally created venue, the Amphitheatre, it is the perfect place to enjoy a wide range of vocal and theatrical performances.

The event is now in its sixth year of operation with each successive year growing as an evening of spectacular entertainment. Music on Kings offers an experience of excellence, quality, sophistication and extraordinary entertainment.

In the short time that opera on Kings has been presented, the event has established a reputation for top quality performances and for the wide appeal of the musical program. it also attracts those who enjoy the finer points of life but also targeted at families in the open aired atmosphere with the back drop of ocean and beach.

from your favourite shows and operas including Phantom of the Opera,La Boheme and La Traviata plus many more songs to snuggle by.

The cast for this "spectacular night of entertainment" will feature, internationally acclaimed Australian performers (Tenor) Bradley Daley and (Soprano) Lecia Robertson, (Soprano) fresh from her International performances in Don Pasquale is Switzerland, Australian (Soprano) Leslie Martin, (Baritone) Shaun Brown and back by popular demand performing his celebrated performance as the Phantom, Queensland former Ten Tenor Roger Davy. To accompany on Grand Piano this top quality all Australian cast will be Pianist Natasha Koch.

We are extremely fortunate for this year to have the expertise of Rosanna Natoli to compere the event. Rosanna, a local resident and well known as the newsreader for Channel 7, is also passionate about music and culture events.
