Be the first to blaze two new Noosa Trail Network Trails

Feel like working on your fitness this weekend? Do you love fresh morning air and the beautiful hinterland?

Then be at the Noosa Showgrounds at 6.30am on Sunday 29 November and be the first to cycle, walk or ride your horse along the two new Noosa Trail Network trails when they open to the public.

The trail opening starts with free registration from 6.30am at the Noosa Showgrounds, Exhibition Street, Pomona.

Trailblazers can either join in a 5km bush walk, 15km horse ride, a 25km bike ride for experienced mountain bikers or a short 7km mountain bike ride suited to beginners and families.  

The guided walks and rides will leave in stages with experienced mountain bikers and horse riders departing at 7.30am, and those walking and beginner bike riders heading off at approximately 7.45am.

Participants can enjoy a free good old country style morning tea including scones, jam and cream at the Noosa Showgrounds after.

Don't forget to wear a hat, sunscreen and comfortable shoes if walking and take along a water bottle.

The two new trails form part of the existing Noosa Trail Network linking Pomona to both Cooroy and Lake MacDonald.
