POKER RUN 2009
Get revved up for the 4th annual major fundraiser for the Pomona
King of the Mountain Festival, it's on again Sunday 5th July starting
at Pomona.
The ride will start from Stan Topper Park, Pomona. Registrations will
be from 8am and will leave approximately 9am. Cost is $15 per poker
hand. There will be three stops winding through the picturesque
Sunshine Coast Hinterland with one of them being a "YUMMY" homemade
smoko. Plenty of chances to win great prizes with random draws at each
stop.
The day climaxes with a few coldies and snags at the Kin Kin Hotel
where the presentation of trophies for the BEST, 2nd BEST & Worst
hands will take place, as well as a "MYSTERY" trophy which is kindly
donated by the Gympie Historical Motorcycle Club.
The day ride course is designed for the novice to the motorbike
extremist, allowing everyone to enjoy the Sunshine Coast Hinterland
road network and beautiful scenery,
Grad your helmet and a mate for a great day of fun on SUNDAY JULY 5 and
enjoy a Sunday ride through the picturesque Sunshine Coast Hinterland
and maybe even beyond.

The POKER RUN is organised by the Cooroy/Pomona Lions Club and the King
of the Mountain Committee as a major fundraising event to help towards
the running of the King of the Mountain Festival.
