Strawbfest - berry fun for everyone! The strawberries are ripe and ready for the picking and we all know what that means - its Strawbfest time! This year Strawbfest comes alive (a little earlier than usual) on Friday September 3 at Chevallum State School from 5pm till late. There'll be fun and festivity for all the family when the school grounds are transformed into a colourful carnival with live entertainment, amusement rides, sideshow alley, market stalls, international food and strawberry themed goodies. A massive pre-loved clothing and book stall will keep the bargain hunters occupied while foodies will revel in the multicultural cuisine.

Fresh flowers and plants aplenty will keep the homemaker happy and the live music, raffles and licensed bar will take care of those looking to let their hair down. But what Strawbfest is really all about is the kids, and we haven't forgotten them; performing clowns, sideshow games, novelties, showbags, amusement rides and face painting is sure to keep them smiling. Everyone will be going home happy when Strawbfest comes to an explosive end after the spectacular fireworks display at 9pm.
