International Women's Day ignites spirit of success in business leaders

For more than two decades, Amanda Gore has been one of America and Australia's most admired and entertaining professional speakers, and on March 9 Amanda will join the Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network in celebrating International Women's Day at the Hyatt Regency Coolum.

The Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network, will join thousands of other organisations around the world in celebrating the achievements of women as part of International Women's Day celebrations, which has grown to become a global day of recognition for women across developed and developing countries alike.

Author of five books and several video and audio training programs, Amanda uses the principles of emotional intelligence to transform the spirit of people and cultures by changing perceptions, improving relationships, connecting people, managing change, leadership, innovation, and team dynamics.

Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network President, Sue Willis says that Amanda is a powerful keynote presenter and we look forward to welcoming her as part of our International Women's Day celebrations, which recognises the trials and triumphs of women world-wide.

"Amanda became one of Australia's most popular motivational speakers before moving to the United States in 2000 and I'm certain there won't be a woman attending the breakfast who won't be inspired by her performance, "said Sue.   

Amanda maintains that most of us know what we want to do - we just don't do it! To stimulate us into action she offers specific strategies to motivate us to approach our lives in new and creative ways. Her techniques for improving professional and personal lives are mind-blowing, yet simple, effective and easy to apply.

International Women's Day, officially celebrated on March 8 every year, has come a long way from being a reminder about the adversity that women faced to the celebration of their achievements.
