Sunshine Coast Concert Band Dance
Get ready to dance the night away
The award-winning Sunshine Coast Concert Band is all set to get locals
up on their feet and dancing to the classic sounds of Glenn Miller at
the Showband Dance to be held at the Kawana Community Hall on Saturday,
July 11, from 7:30pm.
The band, led by Musical Director, Ken Chadwick has been hosting dances
for years and they have become a regular fixture on the calendar for
those who want to get out and enjoy old favourites such as the foxtrot,
modern waltz, jazz and, of course, good old rock and roll.
"People on the coast don't have many opportunities to put their dancing
shoes on and by providing the music and venue we have no doubt it will
be well supported and everyone will have a great time," Music Director,
Ken Chadwick said.
The magic of Ken Chadwick and the forty piece staged Sunshine Coast
Concert Band will provide a great evening of entertainment and dancing.
