The Birthing Kit Assembly Day
Birthing kits save lives - get involved on your local campus
CQUniversity is partnering with Zonta to assemble and distribute over 4000 birthing kits to third world countries.
On September 25, each of our 10 CQUniversity campuses will hold an assembly day, inviting students, staff and community members to attend and be a part of this truly worthwhile project. The Birthing Kit Assembly Day will start at 11am and will be followed by a free community barbecue.

Birthing kits have the basic requirements for a clean and safe birth, including a sheet, soap, gloves, cords, scalpel and gauze squares, contained in a press-seal bag. They are light, small, water resistant and simple to use.
Participating campuses include Mackay, Emerald, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Noosa, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne.
