The Events Centre and the Caloundra Chorale and Theatre Company present by arrangement with David Spicer Productions The Boy from Oz. The Boy from Oz is a musical journey through the life of internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Peter Allen.
From humble beginnings growing up in Australia through the 1950's, to his meteoric rise to fame as an international star, Peter Allen's chance encounter with Judy Garland in the 1960's changed the course of his life forever.
After relocating to New York City the flamboyant Peter meets and falls in love with Judy's daughter, Liza Minnelli, a passionate relationship eventually torn apart by excess.
