'The Bra Challenge' sewing meeting
THE TEWANTIN NEIGHBOUR GROUP of the Australian Sewing Guild -- known
as The Guilded *Lilies* Sewing Circle. *(Ladies industriously learning
interesting exciting sewing).
will meet on Saturday 28th November 2009 commencing at 9.00 am until
3.00 pm at the Masonic Hall, cnr of Moorindil and Toolar Streets,
Tewantin, this will be the last meeting for 2009. To celebrate
Christmas the Pomona Sewing Group will be joining us. It will also be
"The Bra Challenge", guaranteed a full fun day. Please bring a plate of
Christmas goodies to share for lunch, NO SEWING MACHINES.
The Tewantin Group has a regular program with a different topic each
month. For the prospective new members, the group is made up of
enthusiastic people, with varying skills from the novice to the
specialist. Members bring their sewing machines and lunch and in a
friendly environment explore both basic dressmaking and decorative
sewing techniques.The group has an ongoing project of sewing items for
charities and clothes for premature babies.
