FLICKS IS BACK WITH AN 'INCREDIBLE' CLASSIC
 
Eumundi Outdoor Cinema 'Flicks in the Sticks' is back from a winter break and is set to fire up its huge screen with a screening of the animated classic 'The Incredibles' on Saturday 2 October at the Eumundi Showgrounds.

Flicks in the Sticks Director Trent Harvison says the Flicks team are excited to be starting the screening season again following a winter break.

"Since commencing operation late last year, we've had a fantastic response, and I know all our loyal 'Flicks' fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the outdoor cinema in Eumundi".

"We're putting the finishing touches to an action-packed calendar that will have movies for everyone," says Trent.

"Over the coming months we'll be screening at the Eumundi Showgrounds, more 'Dive-In' movies at the Eumundi Pool, Noosaville Lions Park and a number of other locations in and around the Sunshine Coast."

Flicks in the Sticks will be screening the following movies over the coming weeks:

*    Saturday 25 September -- 'Alice in Wonderland' at Noosa Sea Scouts
*    Friday 1 October -- '101 Dalmations' at Noosaville Lions Park, Noosa River
*    Saturday 2 October -- 'The Incredibles' at Eumundi Showgrounds
*    Friday 15 October -- 'The Simpsons Movie' -- Dive-In movie at Eumundi Pool
*    Saturday 30 October -- 'Ghostbusters' -- Halloween movie at Eumundi Showgrounds

"All of these movies are open to everyone, so come along from 5pm to get yourself a spot, in preparation for the screenings to start around 6.30pm," says Trent. "And make sure you bring something to sit on -- a picnic rug or chair -- or reserve one of our beanbags for hire."

"We'll have food available with hot dogs, popcorn, drinks and all the necessary movie munchies," Trent says, "So come along for what will be an 'Incredible' night!"

A bit about the movie...

Mr. Incredible (A.K.A. Bob Parr), and his wife Helen (A.K.A. Elastigirl), are the world's greatest famous crime-fighting superheroes in Metroville. Always saving lives and battling evil on a daily basis. But fifteen years later, they have been forced to adopt civilian identities and retreat to the suburbs where they have no choice but to retire of being a superhero and force to live a "normal life" with their three children Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack (who were secretly born with superpowers). Itching to get back into action, Bob gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top secret assignment. He soon discovers that it will take a super family effort to rescue the world from total destruction.
