The puppets children's workshop
Puppet workshop returns due to popular demand
The Events Centre's November children's workshop will once again feature ventriloquist Julie Dalton, and her troop of puppet friends from Bee Happy Puppets.
The first puppet workshop, held in September, was a sell out and parents are encouraged to get in early and book a place for their child.
The interactive show will feature many furry, cute and cheeky puppet characters, each with their own personality, including Chloe the Bear, Fritzel the Dog and Lily Crocadilly. Children will also have the opportunity to learn the art of puppetry by operating a frog finger puppet.
Puppeteer Julie said, "The November show will differ from the September one and aims to expand on the individual personalities and traits of the puppets. I use these elements to cover issues including good manners and self esteem."
The puppets children's workshop will be held at The Events Centre on Tuesday November 3 at 10.30am. Tickets can be purchased by calling (07) 5491 4240
Tickets are $6, including fruit platters for morning tea. Complimentary entry for parents. Places are limited.
