"The Sculptured Garden" exhibition
The Potters and Sculptors of Sunshine Coast's Buderim Craft Cottage will present an exhibition of sculpture and functional work over the first two weekends in September. Held annually since 1997, the exhibition will include about 150 works from some 40 artists. The exhibition showcases the best of the artists' recent work, and focusses on sculptural pieces for gardens and courtyards. There will also be a significant number of pieces designed for indoor display, including wall art. All the work is hand-formed and fired in the artists' studios. The second weekend co-incides with Buderim's famous Garden Festival, so there will be much for lovers of garden art and gardens to enjoy.
