The 40's and 50's swing music is back. Do you want to jive ,dance or just tap your feet. Then the URBAN SWING BIG BAND is for you. . The great music of Shaw Dorsey Miller era is played with style by a 16 piece swing band. Led by Shea Stanley who sings as well as playing most instruments heads a band loaded with talented musicians who love the big band swing music. Shea was a member of the Womens Royal Air Force Central band before moving to Australia. Having played and taught in Adelaide Shea moved to Brisbane and 4 years ago encouraged some professional and amateur musicians who love the big band music to form the Urban Swing Big Band.
The group will be playing on Saturday 2nd October at the Kawana Community Hall Nanyima St. Buddina from7.30-10.30Pm. The cost is $20 members ,$25 nonmembers . BYO refreshments. For bookings phone Ted 5491 6017 or Helen [credit cards]
