Volunteer MAD Event
This event is free for all managers and administrators of local community groups.
Volunteering Sunshine Coast is proud to be hosting our annual Volunteer
MAD event. With International Volunteer Managers Day in November it is
time to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our volunteer managers
on the Sunshine Coast.
Our MAD event aims to provide managers of volunteers with some
essential training on relevant issues, an opportunity to share ideas
and hopefully have some fun too! Also at a time when community groups
are experiencing an increased demand for services we want to give you
some additional tools to help you cope and minimise stress levels in
your work environment.
Many managers of community organisations work in isolation so an
important part of the day is for you to meet and share your issues,
frustrations and concerns with fellow managers of other community
groups - so make sure you bring your business cards.
As managers of community groups you are always looking after someone
else so take some time for yourself for some professional development
and networking.
We look forward to welcoming you to our MAD event.
