Fiddler on the Roof opens at Noosa Arts Theatre on 1 September for a three week season.

Fiddler on the Roof is a musical people love. It is filled with laughter and tenderness and tells a story we can all believe in. It has wonderful songs, engaging characters, familiar family tensions between parents and children and it portrays the saga of a whole community trying to adjust to change yet trying to retain their identity and culture.

A thread of Jewish humour leavens the story and balances some of the sadness that flows from the discrimination against this little village community.

Performances are on September 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18 at 7.30pm and September 5, 12 and 18 at 2.00pm.
Tickets are Adults: $30, Conc $26, Groups $24: Children (12 and under): $20, Groups $18.
