Twilight 'Eclipse' & 'New Moon' Movie Fundraiser for Nambour Special School

Wow, can you believe it's already February -- how long has it been since we were all in a buzz over the release of "New Moon" and our special fundraising screening.

We raised over $6,000 for the Nambour Special School from which they were able to purchase a specially designed interactive whiteboard which has already been making a remarkable impact on some of our gorgeous special needs kids. Talk about a success!!!

So I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you with all sincerity and genuine appreciation for helping make the event such a huge success.

And now we're already gearing up for the next big night. Considering how popular the last one was we are going to do the exact same thing again. And what will be raising funds for this time you may ask. Well, we've set our sights even higher this year to once again help the Nambour Special School as well as helping 2 individuals. So here's our fundraising goals for this year:

1) Nambour Special School -- we're aiming to raise $5,000 to buy therapy aids;
2) Bayden Adamson (my 10 year old special needs son) -- we're aiming to raise $2,500 for a specially designed bike and specially designed pram (for older children) so that he can ride with his brothers and we can go walking as a family.

So, as you can see, we are aiming to raise a whopping total of $7,500 and would love your help! And realistically we should easily reach this goal as it is only $2,000 more than was raised last year.

I am starting to take bookings we are booked in the exact same cinema as last time (Cinema 1). Summit Entertainment has not yet released any official information regarding the exact release date therefore we are working towards the tentative dates of 30th June or 1st of July -- stay posted! However, in the meantime, tickets are already selling fast so get in quick to secure you ticket and we'll let you know which date as soon as it's confirmed.

DATE: 1st July 2010 (official release date may be the 30th june still to be confirmed so we are on the official release date either 30th/1st) Times and date still to be confirmed

FORMAT: screening of "New Moon" approximately 6:00pm; followed by free nibbles, Lucky door prizes, and raffles (more sensational prizes up for grabs); then the grand finale with screening of "Eclipse" from around 9:15pm.

COST: $35.00 per person for both movies, nibbles and great lucky door prizes. All money must be paid upon booking and a receipt will be sent to you via email.
