Interesting Site Stats

Back in June (2007), we passed the 2 million visitors to the site since we launched in late 2003. Seemed like a nice number to us, so we dug around and found some interesting site stats from the past 3 ¾ years.

• Over 2 million viewers (1.5 million uniques)
• We promote over 35,000 Sunshine Coast businesses on site, 45,000 times throughout our 2,000 categories/industry types.
• Business records (free and paid for ads on site) have been viewed over 55 million times
• Around 45,000 events have been promoted in our calendar, and they have been collectively viewed over 10 million times
• A little under 1,000 job ads have been available via our site (well in the last 2 years only) and they have been viewed over 1.7 million times
• My Sunshine Coast website is found via search engines with over 230,000 unique search terms every year
• Since 2004, our Preimium Advertising package has remained at $295 + gst per year to promote your local business, thats just a little over 50c per day
• Lastly, we have had around 100 million hits so far (averaging 3.5million per month now) ok now that figure is just plain silly, but with the other stats it does explain our server costs.
